  • We collect information you provide (account details, support messages) and information collected automatically (device info, usage analytics, crash logs).
  • With your permission, we may collect precise or approximate location.
  • If you choose to use AI-assisted features, uploaded text/images are processed on OmisHub Team’s own servers, not shared with any third party, and deleted promptly after processing (unless you choose to save results).
  • We do not sell personal information.

Age notice: OmisHub is intended for users aged 17 and older. If you are under 17, do not use the App.

A. Account and profile information (provided by you)

  • Name (if you choose to provide it)
  • Username
  • Email address

B. Customer support content (provided by you)

  • Messages, attachments, and other information you send when contacting support

C. Content you create in the App (provided by you)

Depending on your usage, you may create or store:

  • Custom recipes (wax types, floral elements, essential oil combinations, ratios)
  • Experiment notes, aroma impressions, and comparisons
  • Photos you choose to attach to recipes/notes (stored locally by default; see Section 7)

D. Location information (only if you allow)

  • Precise location, or approximate location

You can control location permissions in your device settings.

E. Automatically collected information

  • Device information (device model, OS version, language, time zone, identifiers)
  • App usage data and analytics (feature interactions, session information, performance metrics)
  • Crash logs and diagnostic data

F. Cookies and similar technologies (when applicable)

If parts of the Services are accessed through web views or web-based pages, we may use cookies (for login state and preferences) and similar technologies such as web beacons. You may be able to control cookies through your browser or device settings (availability varies by platform).

3) How We Use Information

  • Provide and maintain the Services (account creation, login, saving content, syncing where enabled)
  • Personalize your experience (preferences, organization of recipes and notes)
  • Improve the App (analytics, performance monitoring, debugging, crash analysis)
  • Ensure security and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Provide customer support and respond to requests
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights

We do not sell your personal information.

4) Legal Bases (where applicable)

Depending on your location, our processing may rely on:

  • Your consent (e.g., location access, optional AI uploads)
  • Performance of a contract (providing the Services you request)
  • Legitimate interests (improving and securing the App, preventing abuse), balanced against your rights
  • Legal obligations (compliance with applicable laws)

5) Sharing and Disclosure

We share information only as necessary and with appropriate safeguards:

  • With your consent: when you explicitly choose to share.
  • Service providers (processors): trusted vendors may process data on our instructions and only to the minimum necessary extent.
  • Legal requirements: if required by law or valid legal process.
  • Protection of rights and safety: to protect users, the Services, or OmisHub Team.

6) International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent mechanisms.

7) Photos, Face Data, and Biometric Information

  • OmisHub does not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or create biometric templates.
  • If you upload a photo for a one-time generation feature, it is processed only to deliver the requested result and deleted promptly after processing.
  • By default, photos attached to recipes/notes are stored locally on your device unless you enable backup/sync.
  • We do not use your photos for training models or for marketing.

8) AI-Assisted Features (Text/Image Processing)

Some features may allow you to optionally upload text and/or images to generate or enhance content (for example, generating a formatted recipe card, summarizing notes, or creating a one-time output based on your inputs). This section applies only if you use such features.

  • User control: you decide whether to upload content.
  • Processing location: uploaded text/images are processed on servers controlled by OmisHub Team (our own servers).
  • No third-party sharing: we do not share your uploaded AI inputs or generated outputs with any third party.
  • Deletion after processing: we delete AI inputs and temporary processing artifacts promptly after processing completes. If you save outputs, they are retained until you delete them or delete your account (see Section 10).
  • No training/marketing: we do not use AI inputs/outputs to train models or for marketing.

9) Security

  • Encryption in transit and, where appropriate, at rest
  • Access controls and least-privilege practices
  • Regular audits and monitoring
  • Backups and recovery procedures

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10) Data Retention

  • Account information: retained for the life of your account.
  • After account deletion: deleted or anonymized within 30 days (unless legally required otherwise).
  • Usage analytics: retained for up to 12 months.
  • Customer support records: retained for up to 6 months.

11) Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your information
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)

12) Children

OmisHub is not directed to children and is intended for users aged 17+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective Date” when changes take effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Policy to the extent permitted by law.

14) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution (Binding Arbitration)

To the extent permitted by law, this Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where OmisHub Team is primarily established, excluding conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action, except where prohibited by law. Nothing prevents either party from seeking relief in small claims court if eligible.
